Chicken is my favorite meat. For me, it is very versatile and can be cooked in any way to satisfy one’s discerning palate. You can fry it for some crispy goodness or boil it to have a hearty soup. You can grill it for some barbecue delight or steam it for a healthier menu.

For today, we will cook the Peppered Chicken Steak. Do not be intimidated by its name. This is so easy but guaranteed to be so yummy. Preparation time is just under 10 minutes and you can cook this is 8 minutes! For less than 30 minutes, you will be able to serve another delicious chicken meal. Here’s a list of the ingredients that you will need to prepare.

  • 1 lb boneless chicken breast, cut into chunks ¼
  • cup of cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of sesame oil
  • 5 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 2 tsp of black pepper
  • 4 tbsp of cooking oil
  • 1 small sizedyellow onion, diced
  • 4 cups celery, sliced thinly
  • 2 tbsp of ginger, grated

For the procedure, just put together the chicken, cornstarch, soy sauce, garlic, pepper, and sesame oil. In the meantime, preheat your pan for 2 minutes then put the cooking oil. Add the chicken mixture tothe pan. Make sure that the chicken is cooked on both sides. Then stir the mixture to make sure that the flavor is absorbed properly. Remove the chicken from the pan. Put the celery, grated ginger, and onion in the pan and cook for a minute. Make sure that you do not over cook them so that they will be crispy to the bite. Put the chicken pack in the pan and stir the mixture. Put in a dash of black pepper. This recipe is good for 2 persons. Again, this is best served with hot steamed rice. Happy eating!
